Obituary of Margaret Rose Lucas

Margaret Rose Lucas (nee Kinney), 82 of Cape Canaveral, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep and into eternal rest. Born on August 2, 1938 in Orange, New Jersey, Margaret, also known as “Midge” to those closest to her, was a longtime resident of West Orange where she raised her five children. Afterward, in 1998, she moved to Central Florida to reside near her eldest daughter, Sharon in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Margaret was a Homemaker and she was a devoted, generous, caring and loving mother to her five children. She was always there for her children. She loved her life to the fullest and she was a very happy and gregarious woman. She always lit up a room for all of those around her; always smiling, laughing and talking with whomever she came in contact. All who had the privilege of knowing Margaret truly loved her for her beautiful aura and her zest for life and people. Margaret was a beautiful soul and a ray of sunshine to every life she touched. Margaret leaves behind her five children, John Lucas and his late wife, Annette, Sharon Juliano, William Lucas and his wife, Patricia, Diane Lucas Mc Clary and Margaret Weber and her husband, Damon. She was the loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Gina, Angela, Timothy, Sean, Brittney, William, Jacob, Lee and Audrey; cherished great-grandmother to Angelina, Carter, and Analynne; and the loving sister of Ruth Orrei. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Kinney and John Kinney, also her sister, Dolores Orlando. A private family memorial will be held on a future date.
