Obituary of Ella Lucille Williams

Ella Lucille Williams entered her eternal resting place on December 14, 2020. She was born March 12, 1930 to Pauline and Edward Mock in Sylvania, GA. She was married to Corbet Williams. Together they had four children, Pamala Hill, Gladys McGee, Mike Williams and Nick Williams. Ella was called, “Granny” by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Corbet, daughter Gladys, son Mike and her 10 siblings. In 1966, Ella and Corbet chose to make Cocoa, Florida their home. Ella’s love for shiny things and sales landed her a retail position at Jordan Marsh where she continued to work as the company transitioned to Macy’s. In addition to her job she had quite the green thumb, loved to fish, paint ceramics and play the lottery. Her family will cherish the memories of family gatherings and holiday dinners at her house. The family is eternally grateful for all the love and attention from her caregivers at Palm Cottages, especially Lillie Singletary, and Health First Hospice. The family will have a private graveside service on Saturday December 19, 2020 at Florida Memorial Gardens. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Health First Hospice in Ella’s name.
