Obituary of Charles Council

Charles “Boosie” Council, the son of the late Joseph Council Sr. He was born on September 25, 1954 in Grover, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2021 at Solaris Healthcare on Merritt Island, Fl. Charles had his first born, daughter as a young adult, and later on got married to his ex-wife, Annie Bell Council and to this union 3 children were born. He received his education from Brevard County Public School and years later after graduating from Cocoa High School, he worked at East Coast Lumber as a general labor worker, and then as a construction finisher. At an early age, Charles joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Sharpes, FL. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Henry McFarland, sister, Shirley McFarland and grandparents, Marion and Carrie Council, and John P. and Queenie Henderson as well as aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his loving mother, Dorothy M. McFarland; siblings Joseph Council Jr. and Stacey McFarland; children, Lawanda F. Council, Nicholas Council, Natalie N. (Shicarta) Council, Korey C. Council; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kyandre and Frederick Smith, Tomia Gamble, Chaniya Williams, Kaitlynne, Desiree, Zamara, Harmonee and Ashden Council, Cordarrius and Kayliana Council, Kahlia and Legend Carter; nieces, Catrice N (Cederick) Hawkins, Ce’Aira and Cerair Hawkins; nephews, Late Samuel J. Sweeting, Timothy “TJ” Sweeting, Samantha N. Sweeting, Sean H. Sweeting, Cornelius J. McFarland, Tyjuan C. McFarland, Tyzelya N. McFarland and Tristan C. McFarland; best favorite cousin, Will “Gilly” Simmons; longtime companion, Ruby Martin; longtime best friends Walter Chambliss and Brian Armstrong; Godkids, Shalenia Felder, Treme N’Yomie, Jaden and Jayld; along with a host of other friends and relatives. We love you Boosie and we will miss you. Our hope is to see you again in the resurrection. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Atlantic Mortuary from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 11:00am at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Cocoa, Fl. The service will be officiated by Pastor Rodderick R. Harris. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for your kind expressions of sympathy show to them during their time of bereavement. Thank you for your prayers, cards, gifts, love and all other acts of kindness shown to our family. Your thoughtfulness did so much to ease our sorrow and will be forever in our hearts.
